Use with 1/4", 1/2" or 5/8" Drywall, the Softform® Series STR-025-025 Aluminum Trim Reveal allows you to have decorative recessed reveal adjacent to other architectural components. For example a door jamb, base trim and casework etcetera. The stud lay out may vary depending on the product you are using in conjunction with. The grooved fins are screwed through and the screws must penetrate with a wood or metal substrate in order to have a proper connection and installation. Tape and Mud/Spackle finish. This material has a factory applied etched primer ready for painting.
